In studio flats and multi-purpose rooms, you do not have to give up the bed to make room for a work desk. The wood-frame horizontal Murphy bed mechanism with desk lets you build a piece of furniture whose bed opens from its long side and whose front desk can be used while the bed is closed.
The horizontal layout uses a wider wall surface than the vertical model of the same bed size, but it reduces the distance the bed extends into the room when opened. Dimensions, Hardware and Warranty
- Opening and leg: Horizontal opening, hidden leg.
- Bed sizes: 90×190, 100×200, 120×200, 140×190, 150×200 and 160×200 cm.
- Maximum mattress thickness: 24 cm.
- Surface and material: Matt black oven paint, 5 mm laser-cut sheet steel.
- Warranty: Mechanism 10 years; gas springs 3 years. We recommend replacing the gas springs every 7 years.
- System: Depending on the bed size you choose, it operates with 2 gas springs, each with a pressure rating between 250 N and 850 N. Suitable for thousands of opening and closing cycles.
The mechanism is shipped unassembled together with assembly diagrams. The product must be firmly fixed to the wall and must not be used without being fixed. A cutting list for the wood construction can be requested. The wooden body, covers, desktop and mattress are not included in the product price. Our products are manufactured in Bursa, in Modamob's own facilities. The production system is certified under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 10002 standards. The product and mechanism system also holds a CE certificate.
