Rotating Murphy Bed Models

A rotating Murphy bed is a space-saving furniture solution that works by turning a single body on its own axis. During the day, the front faces your room. In the evening you turn the body and the bed comes to face you. This way you use the same floor area as a living space by day and a sleeping area by night. We also call this system a rotating bed for short. We named the models on this page Istanbul; in other words, Istanbul is a series name.

How Does a Rotating Murphy Bed Work?

The body turns on a fixed axis. That is, you don't need to lift the bed up. In a single movement the front goes to the back and the bed comes forward. This makes opening and closing effortless. In short, you set up the bed just by turning it, without carrying it.

TV Unit, Display Cabinet or Fireplace on the Front

You choose the front according to your needs. Six models have a TV unit, so you can watch the screen comfortably during the day. For example, in one model the TV-unit front has three doors. The models with a display cabinet give the look of a decorative unit. We also have a model that combines a TV unit with a fireplace.

Options with a Desk and with a Detachable Desk

If you want a work area, look at the models with a desk. Four models have a desk. In two of them you can detach the desk from the body. Two of the desk options are single. While the bed is closed, you use the desk as a work area. As a result, you don't need to set up a separate work corner in a small room.

Single and Double Sizes

The series includes four single and six double rotating Murphy beds. The single models are compatible with 90×200 mattresses and the double models with 150×200 mattresses. The mattress is not included in the price. You can also comfortably use standard mattresses up to 18 cm thick. If you need a different size, write to us for custom-size production.

Door Colours and Where to Use It

We offer five door colours on every model: White, Anthracite, Baroque, Daphne and Sapphire Oak. There is also no price difference between these five colours. This way you match your existing furniture without paying extra. You can choose this series for the home, a teenager's room, a home office and a hotel room.

Rotating Murphy Bed Prices, Warranty and Assembly

Rotating Murphy bed prices vary by size and by the front's fittings. You can see the current prices on the product cards on this page. We make the mechanism in our own facility. In production we use 5 mm laser-cut steel parts and baked-paint profiles. The mechanism and metal frame have a 10-year warranty. Wooden parts are covered by a 3-year warranty. We ship the products flat-packed and put the assembly diagram in the package. What is more, we offer paid professional assembly in the provinces we serve.
