Mattress Models
The mattress is the actual sleeping surface that goes inside your Murphy bed or bunk bed. We make the mechanism in our own facility, while you choose the sleeping surface by size. That is why we sell orthopedic foam mattresses here that match our products' dimensions exactly. This removes the risk of buying a mattress that does not fit.
Mattress Sizes: From 90×190 to 160×200
We offer the mattress in six sizes: 90×190, 100×200, 120×200, 140×190, 150×200 and 160×200. Moreover, these six sizes are exactly the same as the sizes of our Murphy beds and bunk beds. For example, 90×190 and 100×200 stand out for single models, while 150×200 and 160×200 lead for doubles. For choosing a size, our bunk bed and mattress size guide will also help.
Thickness Suitable for a Murphy Bed
Our Murphy beds and bunk beds work with a standard mattress up to 18 cm. So look at the thickness as well as the size. If your mattress is thicker than 18 cm, write to us before ordering. Also, the mattress is not included in the furniture price, so you order it separately from this page.
Double-Sided Orthopedic Foam Mattress
The orthopedic foam mattress in this category has two sleeping surfaces: one side is soft, the other medium-firm. If your preference changes, you flip the mattress and use the other side. This way you choose the firmness yourself according to your habits. Moreover, you can wash the cover, which keeps the sleeping surface clean for a long time. In addition, washing the cover regularly and flipping the mattress from time to time extends its life.
Choosing a Mattress for Bunk Beds and Teen Rooms
Our bunk beds work in 90×190 and 100×200 sizes. Whatever size your bunk bed is, choose the same size for both levels. The 18 cm thickness limit applies to both levels. So you only need to decide on a single size. Browse our wall-folding bunk bed models and choose the one that suits your room.
Extra Bed for Hotels and Guest Rooms
In hotels, guesthouses and guest rooms, a Murphy bed often serves as an extra bed. When closed, it takes up as much space as a cabinet; you open the bed when it is needed. Also, being able to wash the mattress cover makes things easier in rooms that host guests often. Size selection here follows the same list. Have a look at our Murphy bed models and let us work out the right mattress size together.
Which Size Fits Which Model?
All of our single Murphy beds are compatible with 100×200. In addition, we offer 90×190 in seven models and 120×200 in one model. All double models work with 160×200. Besides that, 150×200 is available in ten models, 140×190 in five models and 120×200 in three models. For bunk beds, 90×190 and 100×200 apply. Therefore, the size option on your furniture's product page also determines the size of the mattress you will buy.
