The Single Horizontal Murphy Bed Mechanism with Desk is a multifunctional space-saving furniture base that combines the bed and the work desk on the same wall. When the bed is closed, the desk can be used as a work area; when it is opened, the room turns into a bedroom.
Horizontal Opening and Moving Desk System
Because the bed opens sideways over its long edge, it extends into the room only by the width of the bed. This layout is an advantage for low-ceiling rooms and attics.
The desk mechanism keeps the top level while the bed opens and closes. Laptops, books and work materials can be left on the desk. The desk cannot be used while the bed is open; when the bed is closed, the desk becomes a work area again. It is suitable for thousands of opening and closing cycles.

The mechanism and metal frame are covered by a 10-year warranty, and the beech slats and gas springs by a 3-year warranty. Replacing the gas springs every 7 years is recommended.
