Sometimes you want to work at the computer, sometimes to set up a table for a meal. The Istanbul Rotating Murphy Bed with Detachable Desk lets you move the desk to a convenient spot in the room instead of keeping it fixed in front of the furniture.
The desk is removed from its slot in the carcass and its folding legs are opened, ready for independent use. This feature creates different layout options for those who plan a work area and a dining area in the same room.
Shelves for Your Books, a Separate Function for Rest
You can place your study books, files or decorative pieces on the open shelves at the front. This way the unit becomes part of your work corner while the bed is closed.
To switch to the sleeping area, position the desk outside the rotation and opening area, then turn the carcass and lower the slatted base. Securing straps help keep the bed on the slatted base. The mechanism is suitable for thousands of 180-degree rotations and open-close cycles.
Take the Desk into Account in Your Room Plan
The closed dimensions of the unit are 182x68x227 cm; the order is width, depth and height. When the bed is open, a distance of 260 cm from the wall is required. Plan the position of the independent desk, the chairs and the circulation areas separately. If you need a custom size or a different layout for your room, write to us.
The model is suitable for 150×200 cm mattresses up to 20 cm thick. The mechanism and metal frame carry a 10-year warranty. Fixing to the wall is mandatory during installation. The mattress is not included in the price. The product is shipped disassembled and an assembly diagram is included in the package contents. Assembly service is available in these provinces: Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa and Antalya (central districts). Our products are manufactured in Bursa at Modamob's own facilities. The production system is certified under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 10002 standards. The product and mechanism system also holds a CE certificate.
