Wall-Mounted Folding Table Mechanism
The Wall-Mounted Folding Table Mechanism is a space-saving steel system that opens the table surface for use only when needed. When the table is closed, the tabletop sits vertically against the wall and no fixed table legs remain on the floor. This keeps the walkway and the usable floor space clear.
The mechanism has been developed for furniture makers, carpenters, architects, interior architects, project companies and individual users who want to design their own furniture. The colour, thickness and surface design of the wooden tabletop can be determined by the installer.
How Does the Folding Table System Work?
The tabletop moves on two hanger brackets attached to the wall. In use, the tabletop is lifted up into a horizontal position. The two folding leg sets under the tabletop are opened and set on the floor.
When the table is closed, the legs fold under the tabletop and the surface is brought back to a vertical position against the wall. It is suitable for thousands of openings and closings. The bumpers at the leg ends help the legs make stable contact with the floor.
