Less Room Depth with Horizontal Opening

The bed opens sideways on the axis along its long edge. For this reason, in the open position it extends into the room by its width, not its length. It provides a suitable layout for low-ceiling rooms, attic rooms, teen rooms and narrow passage areas. For the horizontal design, sufficient width must be left on the wall along the length of the bed.

The product consists of a metal housing, a folding slatted base, gas springs, curved wooden slats, plastic slat holders and folding legs. The wooden cabinet carcass, front door, handle, colour and surface design are left to the installing company. This way the same load-bearing system can be adapted to different furniture collections and architectural projects. Our products are manufactured in Modamob's own facilities in Bursa. The production system is certified under the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 10002 standards. The product and mechanism system also hold a CE certificate. Replacing the gas springs every 7 years is recommended. Suitable for thousands of open-and-close cycles.

The metal housing, slatted base, slats and assembly diagram are included with the product. The wooden carcass, door and mattress are not included. Mattresses up to 22 cm thick can be used. The system must always be fixed to a solid wall during installation. Assembly service is available in these provinces: Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa and Antalya (central districts). If a thicker mattress is preferred, the cabinet depth must be increased.
