Description
A Work Surface Next to Your Books
To start a project, it helps to have a defined spot where you can place your notebook, computer or drawing materials. The Istanbul Single Murphy Bed with Desk brings shelves and a work surface together in one unit, helping you set up a corner like that.
You can use the open shelves above for your reference books and organiser boxes. When the top in the lower section is opened, it forms a horizontal surface you can work on.
How Is the Folding Desk Used?
The desk top is lifted and the two metal legs underneath are opened and set on the floor. When you finish, the desk can be closed; the closed top covers the front of the lower compartment.
The bed and the desk are used one after the other. Before moving to the bed, the items on the desk must be cleared away and the desk top and legs must be closed. Then the carcass is turned and the slatted base is lowered. This order of use lets the room switch from a daytime work setup to a night-time sleeping setup. The mechanism is suitable for thousands of 180-degree rotations and opening-closing cycles.
Plan the Layout Together with Your Chair
With the unit closed, its dimensions are 122 cm wide, 68 cm deep and 227 cm high. For the open bed, 260 cm of space from the wall is required. Also take into account the movement of the chair in front of the desk and the walking clearance. The mattress is not included in the price.
The system is compatible with 90×200 cm mattresses up to 20 cm thick.
White, Anthracite, Baroque, Daphne and Sapphire Oak options are available. You can compare them on the single Murphy beds page. The mechanism and metal frame have a 10-year warranty. The product is shipped disassembled and must be fixed to the wall in accordance with the assembly instructions. The production system is certified under the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 10002 standards. The product and the mechanism system also hold a CE certificate. Our products are manufactured in Bursa at Modamob’s own facilities. Assembly service is provided in these provinces: Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa and Antalya (central districts).
