Single Horizontal Flat-Pack Storage Bed Base Lids
The single horizontal storage bed mechanism gives access to the storage space under the bed from the long side of the bed base. This opening direction suits furniture projects in which the bed base lid is planned to be used from the side.
The gas-spring-assisted system helps the lid open in a controlled way and stay balanced in the open position. It is suitable for thousands of openings and closings. The product can be used by furniture and decoration companies, furniture makers and individual customers in new production or renovation projects.
Horizontal Opening Storage Bed Mechanism: Set Contents
The metal lid frame is made of 30x40x1.5 mm box profile and coated with black oven paint. The set also contains curved wooden slats, 2 gas springs rated at 450 N, connecting legs and support profiles for under the bed base. The connecting parts use 5 mm laser-cut steel.
This set includes the bed base lid and the lifting system. The wooden bed base body or carcass must be prepared separately.
Flat-Pack Installation and Project Fit
The flat-pack design makes the system easier to carry and to assemble at the installation site. The assembly diagram needed for installation is provided in the package.
Custom-size production is possible for installations where the standard sizes do not fit. Before production, the dimensions of the base body must be communicated to us.
Mechanism, Warranty and Production
The horizontal storage bed mechanism is produced at Modamob facilities in Bursa using raw materials that meet EU standards. The production system is certified under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 10002. The product and mechanism system also hold a CE certificate. The mechanism and metal frame are covered by a 10-year warranty, and the wooden slats and gas springs by a 3-year warranty. It is recommended to replace the gas springs every 7 years.
