The Double Horizontal Murphy Bed Mechanism folds the bed against the wall over its long edge, creating usable floor space during the day. It is suitable for thousands of openings and closings. The ready-made slatted base and mechanism system makes professional furniture production easier.
Less Room Depth with Horizontal Opening
The bed does not come down from the headboard end but from its long edge. In the open position it therefore extends into the room only as far as the width of the bed. This is an advantage in rooms with low ceilings, suspended ceilings and sloping roofs.
The horizontal model reduces the room depth required, but it needs more width on the wall.

The mechanism and metal frame are covered by a 10-year warranty, and the beech slats by a 3-year warranty. Replacing the gas springs every 7 years is recommended.
